It would be beneficial if you added offset to the list of factors along with diameter, thickness, and backspacing. The offset is the distance between the mounting surface and the centre of the wheel. Confusing? Simply put, things will improve. Both backspacing and offset are expressed in millimetres and inches, respectively. Remember that you'll need to decrease the offset from OEM to move the wheel farther out on your car when switching to off road wheels. With a lower offset, there is more space between the inside edge of the tyre and the suspension. In order to give the desired clearance, it might be required to utilise a negative or null offset to move the wheel further.
